Perfumer's Note

Iron Pelt & Marrow opens with a cold, metallic slash — a breath of saffron-edged aldehyde and biting birch tar that recalls the sharp air of a forest clearing after a kill. The heart unfurls slowly, like damp fur drying by firelight: castoreum's animalic musk melds with the iron-salt tang of heme and the dense, greasy depth of smoke-cured hide. The base sinks into the earth itself — a brooding oud blackened by resin and rot, coiled in forest loam and primal black musk — leaving a sillage that is ancient, territorial, and disturbingly alive.
